Corporate Volunteers in Action: Insights into the Pilot Projects

Published on 28/01/2026 by Agence du Bénévolat

In collaboration with associations and interested companies, the Agence du Bénévolat carried out several corporate volunteering pilot projects in 2025.

Employees from various companies volunteered by taking on concrete tasks in support of local associations — including in the gardening workshop of the Fondation Kräizbierg in Dudelange:

Corporate Volunteering for the “Jingle Moart” of the Fondation Kräizbierg

Over a period of two weeks, small groups from three Luxembourg‑based companies (JP Morgan Chase, LSC360 and FM) supported the gardening workshop team of the Fondation Kräizbierg. Under professional guidance, the company volunteers helped craft Christmas decorations and Advent wreaths, which were later sold at the annual “Jingle Moart” in support of the Fondation Kräizbierg. The foundation has been committed to the inclusion of people with disabilities for many years. The pilot project convinced both the on‑site team and the project leaders, demonstrating how impactful corporate volunteering can be.

Voices from the Project

“Our gardening team was very happy about the additional support we received from the volunteers of the three companies, and the feedback from the team was consistently positive. We had a great working atmosphere, and the volunteers made very creative Christmas items that were later sold at our Jingle Moart in support of the Fondation Kräizbierg.
Thanks to the positive experience with this initiative, we are already looking forward to the next corporate volunteering projects we are currently planning.” *
Peggy Vallado, Chargée de la Direction de la Fondation Kräizbierg

The participating companies and their volunteers also expressed strong enthusiasm:

“We had a wonderful experience as volunteers for the Fondation Ateliers Kräizbierg, which supports people with disabilities through day care, relieves families, and offers learning, training and educational opportunities.
Our task was to help create Christmas decorations that were later sold at the Christmas market, enabling the foundation to raise funds for various projects. We were warmly welcomed and truly felt that we were doing something useful, creative and meaningful for a good cause.
It was an enriching and inspiring experience, and we would be very happy to participate again next year. We would especially appreciate being able to help for a full day, as half a day felt a bit short given how valuable the experience was.” *
Virginie Zowczak, Vice President Operations Manager, JP Morgan Chase

“At LSC360, I particularly appreciate that we can use working hours for volunteer activities supporting charitable causes. Taking part in the preparation of the Jingle Moart with the Fondation Kräizbierg was an enriching and very human experience. I encourage other companies to allow their teams to participate in such solidarity‑based initiatives.” *
Jo Kettel, CSR Manager, LSC360

“The afternoon at the Fondation Kräizbierg went very well. It was very interesting to receive a tour of the various activities and the organisation of the foundation. We were happy to help with the Christmas market and the afternoon coffee for the parents of people with severe disabilities.
(…) In any case, the staff were very warm, and people were happy and proud to show their work.” *

More Corporate‑Volunteering Projects & Impressions

Another pilot project was carried out with the Naturpark Our, where volunteers from Vantage Datacenters actively supported the removal of invasive plant species.

Corporate volunteering can also take the form of individual engagement: for example, employees of LSC360 volunteer for the Fondation Lëtzebuerger Blannevereenegung by recording audiobooks in their respective native languages.
